Threads of a Secret Mission: Dr. Khazana Sihwaya
Some missions don’t come with a briefing room. This one begins with a garment on one side of the world and a wearer on the other, and everything in between is her.
Dr. Khazana Sihwaya is one of ours, and the part of her work you’ll never see on a runway is the part we love most: the logistics of sustainable fashion. Routes mapped, timing kept, responsibly made pieces carried safely from maker to wearer. No spotlight, no applause, only the quiet precision that lets good fashion arrive.

Elsewhere, she is a physician, and the founder and CEO of the 2030 Nutrition Project in Lusaka, where the mission is bigger and more basic: helping pregnant and lactating women and children eat well. In 2026 that work took her to London as one of 100 young Commonwealth leaders honored by the Queen Elizabeth II Commonwealth Trust, with a ceremony at Asprey and a reception at St James’s Palace hosted by King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
One Young World Ambassador. JCI Osaka Outstanding Young Person. And, quietly, a keeper of the threads.
Some people change the world loudly. Some do it in transit.
